Flaam is a village at the inner end of the Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord, the deepest fjord n the world.The village of Flaam is a popular tourist destination and has been so since the late 19th century. It currently receives almost 450,000 visitors a year. Most come to experience the amazing Flaam railway, which is 20km of unforgettable views, a climb of 900m and twisting tunnels through the mountains.

Flaam is a great base for hiking, climbing and a number of other outdoor activities and can easily be reached by train and car from other parts of Norway.
