Dover Cruise terminal is situated at Dover Western Docks, just as the A20 enters Dover, and about five minutes by taxi from Dover Priory station. It's easy to spot that you're in the right place as there'll be at least one huge ship docked, which can also be seen from a mile or two away as you start down the hill into Dover town if you're driving to the port. It's a fairly nondescript area, except for Terminal 1, which is in the former Marine railway Station, a listed building with many of the original features.
Porters meet all cars on arrival to assist you with your labelled baggage and other belongings.
The same service is also available to you when disembarking from your cruise. The main car park is close by, and it's worth reserving a space in advance. A well staffed taxi rank, with fully licensed taxis are available from Cruise Terminal 1 and Cruise Terminal 2 and you won't have to wait long for a cab.
Once inside the terminal building the process for passport and check-in is quick and smooth. The terminal building is spacious and there's a cafe bar too.
